How to Convert DVD to RMVB?

This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to use DVD Ripper to rip DVD movies for your RMVB, iPad, iPhone, etc. or to virtually any video format of your choice.

Firstly, download DVD Ripper and then install and run it.

1 Add your DVD movie to DVD ripper

First, run DVD ripper program and click "File" menu to load your DVD file, or directly drag the DVD file icon which you want to rip on the desktop to the program.

Note: The default setting only read main feature of the DVD movie for conversion, without DVD menu and the movie just starts playing right away. If you want to import the whole DVD, go to "Preference" and select "All titles" from "Load Contents in a DVD" dropdown list under Advanced tab.

2 Choose RMVB as output format for your video

Open the format list and then choose “RMVB” under the “Common Video” section. Some optimized presets for devices like BlackBerry and PSP which support Rmvb video playback, that’s to say, if you are about to play your files on these portable devices, you can directly choose the preset for them which may save your time a lot.

The same step, if you want to extract audio from video on Mac, just choose MP3, WAV and AAC as your audio format. Click "Options" button to customize output settings if you want to resize the attribute of video and audio. And titles also can be added into chapters as you need, clike "Merge into one file" right on the main interface.
